FOOD PRODUCTION OPERATIVES – IMMEDIATE STARTS
Leicester, LE1 | £12.86 – £14.15 per hour | Full-Time
We are currently recruiting Food Production Operatives for a well-established food manufacturing business in Leicester.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for full-time, ongoing work with immediate starts available. Previous food production experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.
SHIFT TIMES
AM: 6:00am – 2:00pm
PM: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
Nights: 10:00pm – 6:00am
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Working on a fast-paced food production line
- Preparing, handling and packing food products
- Operating basic production equipment following training
- Checking products meet quality and presentation standards
- Weighing, labelling and packing finished products
- Following production schedules and meeting daily targets
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
- Following strict food safety, health and safety procedures
- Keeping your workstation clean and organised
- Working as part of a team to ensure production runs smoothly
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You don't need previous food production experience. We're looking for people who are:
- Reliable, punctual and committed to regular attendance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Able to stand for extended periods and carry out repetitive tasks
- Comfortable working to production targets
- Able to follow instructions and established procedures
- Detail-oriented, particularly when checking products and packaging
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Available to work full-time
- Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, warehouse, packing or similar environments is beneficial but not essential
- Able to provide the required Right to Work documents
