Full-time | Permanent Warehouse Supervisor Required - Northampton Quest Employment are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy warehouse and logistics operation based in Northampton, NN5. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident warehouse professional with previous supervisory experience to step into a permanent role, taking ownership of daily warehouse performance, team coordination, stock accuracy and dispatch standards. The role will have a strong focus on e-commerce fulfilment, store shipments, inventory control and ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time. Please note: Previous warehouse supervisory experience is essential for this role. The Role As a Warehouse Supervisor, your duties may include: Overseeing daily warehouse activity across picking, packing, dispatch and stock movement Supervising e-commerce order fulfilment from order processing through to dispatch Ensuring orders are picked, checked, labelled, packed and shipped accurately Prioritising orders in line with delivery deadlines and courier cut-off times Monitoring pending, cancelled, returned and failed-delivery orders Coordinating store replenishment orders and outbound shipments Checking shipment quantities, product accuracy, labels and paperwork Supporting goods-in, storage, stock control and warehouse organisation Maintaining accurate stock locations and investigating stock discrepancies Supervising cycle counts, stock checks and inventory activities Ensuring damaged, defective and returned stock is handled correctly Allocating daily duties to warehouse staff based on workload and priorities Monitoring team attendance, performance, productivity and conduct Training staff on warehouse processes, safety, product handling and picking standards Supporting staffing plans during busy periods Liaising with couriers, transport providers and internal logistics teams Resolving delays or issues that may impact daily dispatch performance Ensuring warehouse transactions are recorded accurately on relevant systems Producing daily and periodic warehouse reports Maintaining strong housekeeping and health and safety standards What Were Looking For We are looking for candidates who: Have previous experience supervising a warehouse team Have strong warehouse operations and stock-control experience Are confident managing e-commerce fulfilment, picking, packing and dispatch Have experience coordinating store shipments or retail distribution activity Understand inventory accuracy, reconciliation and stock investigation processes Can allocate workloads and keep teams productive during busy periods Have experience using ERP, WMS, inventory or e-commerce systems Have strong leadership, communication and organisational skills Can problem-solve quickly and work well under pressure Have excellent attention to detail and accuracy Are confident enforcing procedures and health and safety standards Can reliably commute to Northampton, NN5 Experience Required 3-5 years relevant warehouse experience Previous warehouse supervisory experience is required Experience in e-commerce, retail, FMCG, fashion or distribution would be preferred Previous inventory and stock-control experience Dispatch, logistics or courier coordination experience ERP, WMS or e-commerce system experience would be beneficial A degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field would be advantageous but is not essential Whats in it for you? £31,000 annual salary Full-time permanent position 40 hours per week Supervisory role within a busy warehouse and logistics operation Varied responsibilities across e-commerce, dispatch, inventory and store shipments Opportunity to manage a warehouse team and influence daily performance Chance to develop your leadership and operational experience Support from Quest Employment throughout the recruitment process Apply Today If you are an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with a strong background in warehouse operations, stock control, e-commerce fulfilment and team leadership, apply today with your up-to-date CV.
