Rotational Shifts | Monday – Friday + Every Second Sunday
Ongoing Temporary Role
Quest Employment is currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives / Handballers for a busy warehouse operation based at Northampton Cross Logistics Park (NN4).
This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role involving the manual handling of large and heavy garden furniture, so candidates must be comfortable with regular heavy lifting and working as part of a team.
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a rotational shift pattern:
Week 1
- Monday – Friday
- 10:30 – 19:00
Week 2
- Sunday: 07:00 – 16:00
- Followed by 4 days: 06:00 – 14:30
- With 1 weekday off (this day rotates each week – Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday)
This means every second week starts with a Sunday shift followed by early shifts.
The Role
You will be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, mainly unloading containers and handling heavy products ready for storage or distribution.
Key Responsibilities
- Unloading containers and handling heavy garden furniture
- Moving, sorting and organising stock within the warehouse
- Preparing products for storage or dispatch
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Reliable and punctual with a strong xgikmsk work ethic
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Previous warehouse or handballing experience is preferred but not essential
