Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am 4:30pm | Friday, 7:30am 12:30pm

Quest Employment are recruiting for an experienced Closing Room Supervisor to join a well-established footwear manufacturer based in Northampton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor with a background in footwear manufacturing who is passionate about quality, production efficiency, and leading a skilled team.

The Role

As a Closing Room Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operation of the Closing Room, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and supporting the Closing Room team
  • Planning and allocating daily workloads to maximise productivity
  • Monitoring production output and ensuring quality standards are met
  • Carrying out quality inspections and resolving production issues
  • Liaising with production planning and other departments to maintain workflow
  • Supporting and developing team members through guidance and coaching
  • Assisting with booking in and booking out of work where required
  • Maintaining machinery, equipment, and a safe working environment
  • Providing hands-on support within production when needed
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and Health & Safety regulations
