FLT Drivers Required Northampton, NN7 Quest Employment are currently recruiting for experienced FLT Drivers to join a busy warehouse operation based at Panattoni Park, Northampton (NN7).
This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and experienced FLT Drivers looking for consistent night-shift work, weekly pay and the potential to secure a permanent position.
Candidates with Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance experience are encouraged to apply.
Please note: Due to the location of the site and limited public transport options, you must be able to drive to be considered for this role.
The Role As an FLT Driver, your duties may include
- Safely operating FLT equipment, including Reach Truck and Counterbalance.
- Loading and unloading trailers accurately and efficiently.
- Moving stock around the warehouse and placing goods into the correct locations.
- Completing and checking basic warehouse paperwork and documentation.
- Carrying out pre-use equipment checks before operating machinery.
- Reporting issues relating to stock, racking, equipment or safety.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
- Supporting general warehouse duties when required.
- Following all site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Supporting and training across different areas of the warehouse where required.
What Were Looking For The successful candidate will
- Hold a valid Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance FLT licence.
- Have previous warehouse and FLT experience.
- Be confident operating FLT equipment in a busy warehouse environment.
- Have a strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
- Be reliable, punctual and committed to their role.
- Be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Be flexible and willing to support other areas of the warehouse when required.
- Be able to drive due to the location of the site.
- Licence Requirements
- Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance experience is required.
- In-house FLT licences are accepted.
- Accredited licences such as RTITB, ITSSAR or AITT are preferred.
- Candidates must be confident and competent operating the relevant equipment.
