Salary: Base rates from £13.06 per hour - £15.06 per hour plus overtime

Quest Employment is currently recruiting for Forklift Drivers for a temporary ongoing role in a purpose-built site based in Alwalton Hill, Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing supply chain solutions business with fantastic opportunities for progression.

What We Offer:

  • Shifts Available: 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, 22:00-06:00
  • Pay Rates:
  • Monday to Friday (6am - 2pm): £13.06 per hour (Overtime after 37.5 hours: £19.59 per hour)
  • Monday to Friday (2pm - 10pm): £14.06 per hour (Overtime after 37.5 hours: £19.59 per hour)
  • Sunday to Thursday (10pm - 6am): £15.06 per hour (Overtime after 37.5 hours: £19.59 per hour)

Responsibilities Include:

  • Operating a Reach D2 Forklift, performing tasks like loading/unloading, goods in/out, dispatch, and quality checking.
  • Other duties may include mixing products, packing, picking, boxing, and palletising as needed. Flexibility in your role is essential.
  • Picking and packing orders using scanners and internal software.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe workspace, adhering to Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Working towards daily productivity targets and meeting all KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Valid Reach Truck D2 License (9 meters and above), Counterbalance, VNA, Hlop.
  • We may upskill a standard Reach License to D2 in-house.
  • If your license has expired (RTITB, ITSSAR), we may assess and update it onsite with proof of your certification.
  • Ability to lift, bend, stretch, and carry weights of approx. 15kg.
  • Basic computer literacy (preferred but not essential).
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods.
