FLT Drivers Required
Quest Employment are currently recruiting for experienced FLT Drivers to join a busy warehouse operation based at Panattoni Park, Northampton (NN7). This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and experienced FLT Drivers looking for consistent night-shift work, weekly pay and the potential to secure a permanent position. Candidates with Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance experience are encouraged to apply.
Please note: Due to the location of the site and limited public transport options, you must be able to drive to be considered for this role.
The Role
- Safely operating FLT equipment, including Reach Truck and Counterbalance.
- Loading and unloading trailers accurately and efficiently.
- Moving stock around the warehouse and placing goods into the correct locations.
- Completing and checking basic warehouse paperwork and documentation.
- Carrying out pre-use equipment checks before operating machinery.
- Reporting issues relating to stock, racking, equipment or safety.
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
- Supporting general warehouse duties when required.
- Following all site health and safety procedures at all times.
- Supporting and training across different areas of the warehouse where required.
What We're Looking For
- Hold a valid Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance FLT licence.
- Have previous warehouse and FLT experience.
- Be confident operating FLT equipment in a busy warehouse environment.
- Have a strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
- Be reliable, punctual and committed to their role.
- Be able to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Be flexible and willing to support other areas of the warehouse when required.
- Be able to drive due to the location of the site.
Licence Requirements
- Reach Truck and/or Counterbalance experience is required.
- In-house FLT licences are accepted.
- Accredited licences such as RTITB, ITSSAR or AITT are preferred.
- Candidates must be confident and competent operating the relevant equipment.
