We are currently recruiting for Quality Control Supervisors to join our operation at the East Midlands Gateway site. This is a hands-on supervisory role focused on ensuring all outbound loads are checked thoroughly and dispatched correctly, with minimal risk of damage or loading errors.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the quality control operation during shift
- Ensure all loads are checked and loaded correctly before dispatch
- Minimise risk to goods through effective inspection and process control
- Take ownership of load quality and compliance standards
- Confidently challenge and stop loads from leaving site if standards are not met
- Manage, direct, and support the operational team to maintain high performance
- Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Previous quality control or warehouse supervisory experience preferred
- Amazon experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Confident decision-maker with the ability to push back when necessary
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
- Must be proactive, detail-focused, and team-oriented
- Competitive salary in line with current market rates
- Unsociable hours enhancement included
