Materials Operative in Derby

Quest Employment are recruiting for Material Operatives for our prestigious client based in Denby, DE5 . Our client is a leading manufacturer producing high-quality ceramic parts for the aerospace industry . We are looking for reliable and motivated Material Operatives to join their team. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and gain experience within a specialist manufacturing environment. Shifts: Monday to Friday Rotating shifts: 6am2pm / 2pm10pm Hourly Rate: £14.62 per hour You will be paid weekly in arrears . Skills Required for a Material Operative: Previous experience in a warehouse, materials or manufacturing environment is desirable Good attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy. Ability to follow instructions and work to set procedures. Physically fit, as the role involves moving and handling materials. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A forklift/FLT licence would be advantageous but is not essential. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential. Key Responsibilities: Preparing and supplying materials to the production areas. Moving materials safely around the site. Ensuring production areas have the correct materials available when required. Checking materials and quantities to ensure accuracy. Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment. Following all company health and safety procedures. Supporting the wider production team to ensure the smooth running of operations.
