Shift: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 5:30pm | Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm

Sheet Metal Workers Required

Quest Employment are currently recruiting experienced Sheet Metal Workers for a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Coventry, CV7. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for long-term work, stable hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position within a skilled workshop environment.

The Role

  • Manufacturing bespoke orders using galvanised and stainless steel sheets
  • Working with sheet metal ranging from 0.9mm to 3mm
  • Operating hydraulic presses and cutting machines to bend and cut materials
  • Reading and understanding technical drawings and sketches
  • Handling and lifting heavy materials and tools safely
  • Working to high-quality production standards
  • Liaising with the workshop foreman and other site employees
  • Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times
  • Supporting the wider workshop team with daily operations

Key Skills and Experience

  • Have previous sheet metal or fabrication experience
  • Have experience working with galvanised sheet metal (preferred)
  • Can confidently read technical drawings and sketches
  • Are able to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Have good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Are reliable, punctual and safety conscious
  • Are able to lift heavy materials and tools
  • Can provide their own basic tools

Previous experience within manufacturing, fabrication, engineering or workshop environments would be highly beneficial.
