Inbound Operatives Required – Weekly Pay Quest Employment are currently recruiting Inbound Operatives for a busy warehouse operation based in Coventry, CV2.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have good computer skills and are comfortable using warehouse management systems (WMS), handheld scanners and laptops to process incoming goods.
The role is primarily focused on goods receiving, processing and warehouse administration, working on the shop floor alongside the wider warehouse team. Regular heavy lifting is not a main part of the role, although occasional manual handling may be required.
The Role As a Warehouse Receiving Operative, your duties may include:
Receiving and processing incoming goods
Using handheld scanners and laptops to update the warehouse management system (WMS)
Checking deliveries and recording goods accurately
Updating stock records and processing goods through the system
Completing administrative tasks and data entry when required
Working on the shop floor alongside the warehouse team
Supporting general warehouse operations as needed
Following health and safety procedures and maintaining an organised working environment
Carrying out occasional manual handling and heavy lifting when required
Key Skills and Experience We are looking for candidates who are:
Confident using computers, laptops and handheld scanners
Comfortable working with warehouse management systems
Accurate and detail-oriented when processing goods and updating records
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Flexible to support both warehouse and administrative duties
Previous experience in warehouse receiving, goods-in, stock control, WMS or warehouse administration would be beneficial.
