Counterbalance Driver / Production Operative Required – Weekly Pay
Quest Employment are currently recruiting a Counterbalance Driver / Production Operative for a busy production operation based in Coventry, CV3.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied, hands-on role combining counterbalance forklift driving with production duties and manual handling.
The role involves significant manual handling and production work. Candidates must understand that forklift driving is only part of the job and will not take up the entire shift.
The Role Your duties may include:
Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
Moving materials and finished products around the site
Supporting daily production activities
Carrying out manual handling, including lifting and moving materials
Loading and unloading materials where required
Conducting routine forklift checks and reporting faults
Keeping production and working areas clean and tidy
Following health and safety procedures
Working with the team to meet daily production targets
Key Skills and Experience We are looking for candidates who:
Hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence
Have experience operating a counterbalance forklift
Are comfortable with regular manual handling and physical production duties
Are willing to undertake both forklift driving and production work
Are reliable, punctual and have a positive attitude
Can follow instructions and work accurately
Can work independently and as part of a team
Previous production or manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
