This is where you move beyond maintaining processes and start improving how the whole operation runs. You’ll be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance and productivity across the site. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with operational teams, management and support functions to drive positive change and improve the way things are done day to day. You’ll be leading improvement projects, analysing processes and performance data, and helping build a culture where continuous improvement becomes part of the operation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying and leading continuous improvement projects across the operation
- Reviewing operational processes and spotting areas for improvement
- Using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste
- Working closely with different departments to implement process improvements
- Analysing operational data and reporting on performance and project outcomes
- Supporting and coaching teams on continuous improvement initiatives
- Creating and maintaining process documentation and standard operating procedures
- Driving employee engagement and encouraging a culture of accountability and innovation
- Supporting operational performance, quality and customer satisfaction improvements
- Leading meetings, workshops and improvement activities across the site
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience within logistics, supply chain, manufacturing or a similar operational environment
- Experience within continuous improvement, operations excellence or project management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confidence working with different departments and influencing change
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience using operational systems, reporting tools and data analysis
- Lean or Six Sigma experience or qualifications would be a strong advantage
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
