Job Description
Quest Employment is currently recruiting for Production / Assembly Operatives on behalf of a leading manufacturer based in Corby.
Our client specialises in the production and testing of bespoke electrical connectors for industries including automotive, aerospace, telecommunications and industrial sectors.
This is a long-term opportunity with full training provided and the potential to become permanent following a successful probationary period.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling electrical connectors and small components to precise specifications
- Working from technical drawings and instructions
- Carrying out manual and technical assembly, including soldering and loom assembly
- Using tools and equipment at your own workstation
- Inspecting completed work to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintaining a steady and efficient working pace
- Keeping your workstation clean and organised
- Working independently while supporting wider team production targets
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous electronics assembly or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
- Good manual dexterity and a steady hand
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good eyesight and comfortable working with small components
- Able to follow technical drawings and instructions
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Reliable and hardworking
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Soldering or loom assembly experience would be advantageous
