Quest Employment are recruiting! Quest Employment is looking for an experienced CNC Turner Setter Operator to join one of the UK's leading subcontract engineering manufacturers in Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly skilled production team, working with modern CNC turning machinery to manufacture precision-engineered components to the highest quality standards.
The Role
- Setting and operating CNC Turning machines, including single and twin spindle lathes.
- Producing high-quality precision components in accordance with complex engineering drawings.
- Making machine adjustments to ensure components meet exact specifications and tight tolerances.
- Working to achieve production targets and allocated operation times.
- Carrying out in-process quality inspections using a variety of measuring equipment.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances accurately.
- Working closely with the Quality and Production teams to ensure machining capability and product quality.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and housekeeping within the machine shop.
- Undertaking ad-hoc CNC programming duties where appropriate and within your level of experience.
- Following all Health and Safety regulations.
