Are you an experienced Chef Manager looking for your next opportunity? We're recruiting for a Chef Manager to lead the kitchen within a welcoming residential care home in Chelmsford (CM2).

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on chef with strong leadership skills who is passionate about delivering nutritious, high-quality meals while managing the day-to-day running of a busy care home kitchen.

The Role

• Leading and managing the kitchen team.


• Planning and preparing fresh, nutritious meals for residents.


• Managing food ordering, stock control and kitchen budgets.


• Ensuring high standards of food hygiene, health & safety and compliance.


• Creating varied, balanced menus that cater to residents' dietary requirements.


• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef Manager is essential.


• Experience working within a residential care home or healthcare environment is highly desirable.


• Strong leadership and organisational skills.


• A passion for producing high-quality, home-cooked meals.


• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
