Job Description:
Quest Employment are recruiting for an experienced Carpenter (Bench Joiner) on behalf of our client in Northampton (NN5). This is a full-time role within a bespoke carpentry and joinery business, offering the chance to work on diverse and exciting projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Construct and assemble custom-made furniture, cabinetry, and wooden structures

Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to plan and complete projects

Measure, cut, shape, and join materials using hand and power tools

Install fixtures, fittings, and hardware as required

Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment, following health & safety procedures
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Carpenter, specialising in bench joinery

Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Good physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for long periods

Team player with good communication skills

Valid driving licence preferred but not essential
