Job Overview: We are currently recruiting a Food Factory Hygiene Assistant to support cleaning and sanitation operations within a busy food production site in the Bretton area. This is a full-time, ongoing temporary role with consistent hours and a rotating shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out scheduled deep cleaning of production areas and equipment
- Sanitising surfaces, machinery, and workstations to food safety standards
- Using approved cleaning chemicals and hygiene tools safely
- Disposing of waste and maintaining tidy work areas
- Following all food safety and health & safety procedures
- Completing cleaning records and checklists accurately
Working Hours:
- 8:00am - 4:00pm shifts
- Full-time rota pattern
- Must be available to work at least one weekend day each week
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning or hygiene experience preferred (factory or food environment ideal)
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines
