Catering / Café Assistant
Location: Peterborough
Salary: £26,200 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm
Flexibility required for occasional event-related weekends

The Role
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with food, likes variety and is happy getting stuck in wherever needed.
This is more than just serving in a café.
You'll be preparing sandwiches, helping with buffets, supporting in the kitchen, serving customers and making sure everything runs smoothly throughout the day.
The usual hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30am–3:30pm, which is a pretty decent catering shift if we're being honest, but there will be some flexibility needed for occasional weekend events.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing sandwiches, rolls and light food
- Helping prepare buffets and event catering
- Supporting food preparation in the kitchen
- Serving customers in the café
- Handling food safely and correctly
- Keeping food preparation areas clean and organised
- Replenishing displays
- Washing up and supporting general kitchen duties
- Following food hygiene and food safety procedures

- Supporting occasional events where required
What You'll Need
You must have previous food preparation or catering experience and hold relevant food safety / food handling qualifications.
