We are currently recruiting Hygiene Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced production environment. This is a temp-to-perm (T2P) role, offering the opportunity to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks, subject to performance.
Location: Brackley, Northamptonshire
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning machinery and factory areas using jet washers and specialist chemicals
- Maintaining high hygiene standards across the site (excluding toilet areas)
- Working in environments that may be cold, hot, or involve exposure to blood
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Previous hygiene or cleaning experience within industrial settings (e.g. factories, warehouses, or offices) is preferred
- Must hold a valid driving licence due to shift patterns and location
- Reliable, flexible, and able to commit to a rotating shift schedule
- Comfortable working in physically demanding conditions
Pay rate: £13.65/hour PLUS £2 shift allowance
Overtime: £20.48/h (applies after 38 hours of work)
Shift Pattern (Rotating 4-Week Schedule):
Please note: Candidates must be able to work all shifts as listed below.
- Week 1 (38 hours): Monday - Thursday: 23:00 - 06:30 (30-minute unpaid break), Friday: 18:00 - 05:00 (1-hour unpaid break)
- Week 2 (37.5 hours): Sunday: 23:00 - 06:30 (30-minute unpaid break), Monday - Wednesday: 23:00 - 06:00 (30-minute unpaid break), Saturday: 18:00 - 06:00 (1-hour unpaid break)
- Week 3 (40.5 hours): Sunday & Monday: 23:00 - 06:00 (30-minute unpaid break), Thursday: 23:00 - 06:00 (30-minute unpaid break), Friday: 18:00 - 05:00 (1-hour unpaid break), Saturday: 18:00 - 06:00 (1-hour unpaid break)
- Week 4 (36 hours): Sunday: 23:00 - 06:00 (30-minute unpaid break), Tuesday - Thursday: 23:00 - 06:00 (30-minute unpaid break), Friday: 18:00 - 05:00 (1-hour unpaid break)
