Quest Employment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for a busy and growing logistics operation based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for ongoing work, weekly pay, stable hours, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
The Role
- Delivering and collecting palletised freight across Birmingham and ST postcodes
- Completing deliveries via forklift offload or tail-lift kerbside delivery
- Operating company vehicles safely and professionally
- Using powered pallet trucks provided onboard vehicles
- Completing allocated routes within required timeframes
- Using company delivery Apps and systems (full training provided)
- Maintaining communication with transport and operations teams
- Ensuring excellent customer service at all times
- Minimal manual handling required
- No nights out required
Key Skills and Experience
- Aged 25 years or over
- Holding a valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Holding a valid CPC Qualification Card
- Having a minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience
- Comfortable working independently
- Professional, reliable and customer focused
- Possessing good route planning and time management skills
- Having excellent spoken English
Driver Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 Licence
- Valid CPC Certification
- Maximum 6 penalty points for minor offences only
- No DD, DR, DU or insurance-related convictions
- No history of driving accidents or insurance claims (must be disclosed)
- Commercial driving experience essential
