The role involves operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently while supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving stock around the warehouse
- Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
- Completing stock movements accurately
- Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any issues
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Supporting general warehouse duties when required
Requirements
- Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
- In-house forklift licences will not be accepted
- Previous Counterbalance experience within a warehouse environment
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
