Job Overview

We are recruiting Secondary Packing Operatives to work within a healthcare manufacturing environment with the ability to support quality activities as a Quality Technician (QT) when required. The role will primarily support secondary packaging and rework operations but may also include quality-related tasks such as GMP training support and Goods Inwards quality processes. The ideal candidate will be confident working to procedures, able to apply regulatory requirements, and effective in written and verbal communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working within the secondary packing area, duties will include:
  • Changing and assembling secondary packaging
  • Cartoning
  • Labelling
  • Inserting patient information leaflets (PILs)
  • Tamper sealing
  • Following quality standards at all times
  • Reporting any quality concerns immediately to management or the Quality team

Health, Safety Requirements

Personnel working in the secondary packing area must dress according to procedure, including:

  • Safety shoes
  • Hair net
  • Coveralls and shoe covers
  • Minimal makeup
  • No jewellery (wedding bands only permitted)
