Our client is currently recruiting for Despatch Operatives to join their well-established team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment, supporting the efficient running of the despatch department.
The available shift is Monday to Friday, 6:00pm - 3:00am.
Key Responsibilities- Stack, rotate, and carry out stock checks within chilled storage areas
- Select and prepare stock for customer orders and transfer goods to the despatch bay
- Complete and process relevant despatch documentation
- Scan all crates and pallets accurately prior to despatch
- Verify pallet quantities and ensure the correct destination is recorded
- Support other departments when required
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, health & safety, and hygiene at all times
- Comfortable working in a physical and chilled environment
- Positive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible with working hours to meet customer and business demands
- Counterbalance Forklift experience is desirable, although training can be provided
