Stock Control Operatives Required
Quest Employment are currently recruiting Stock Control Operatives with Reach Truck licence for a busy and growing distribution centre based in Harpole (NN7). This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with stock control or inventory experience looking for ongoing work, weekly pay, stable hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.
The Role
- Conducting cycle counts and stock checks
- Investigating discrepancies and updating stock records
- Maintaining accurate inventory across warehouse locations
- Using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems
- Operating Reach Truck safely and efficiently
- Supporting stock movement and palletising
- Working closely with goods-in, dispatch and warehouse teams
- Ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Key Skills and Experience
- Experienced in stock control, PI or inventory management
- Hold a valid Reach Truck licence
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
- Detail-oriented with a methodical approach
- Reliable and proactive
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Confident working with data and numbers
- Previous experience in logistics, distribution or warehouse environments would be beneficial
Pay and Benefits
- £13.69 per hour goes up to £14.22
