Are you an experienced warehouse operative looking for your next opportunity? We're recruiting Goods In Operatives to join a busy retail distribution warehouse in Islip, Northamptonshire.
Due to a high volume of incoming deliveries, we're looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who can hit the ground running and support a fast-paced warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload and process incoming deliveries.
- Check goods against delivery notes and report any discrepancies or damaged items.
- Move, sort and organise stock safely and efficiently.
- Carry out manual handling duties, including lifting items weighing up to 25kg.
- Ensure goods are stored in the correct locations and warehouse areas remain tidy.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational targets.
- Follow all warehouse health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking For
- At least 6 months of warehouse experience preferred.
- Comfortable with heavy lifting of up to 25kg.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a positive attitude.
- Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Own transport is strongly preferred due to the work location and shift times.
- Available to commit to the full working schedule, with no pre-booked holidays in the near future.
Shift & Pay Details
- Pay rate: £14.74 per hour
- Standard shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Initial training: Monday and Tuesday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Work location: Islip, Northamptonshire
