The Role
Quest Employment are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a busy and well-established venue in Bedford.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a strong focus on conferences, events and short-order service.
Working as part of a busy kitchen team, you will help deliver consistently high-quality food across a variety of events and functions, while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, cleanliness and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard
- Working across conferences, events and high-volume service
- Managing short-order cooking during busy periods
- Supporting the senior kitchen team with the smooth running of the kitchen
- Ensuring all food is prepared, stored and presented correctly
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety
- Working efficiently as part of a busy team
- Helping with stock control and minimising food waste
About You
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role
- Experience working in a high-volume kitchen is essential
- Conference, events, banqueting or function experience would be advantageous
- Confident working under pressure during busy services
- Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- Reliable, organised and a strong team player
- Passionate about producing quality food and maintaining high standards
