Quest Employment is currently recruiting experienced and passionate Chef de Parties to join the kitchen teams at hotels/spa in Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled chefs looking to progress their hospitality career within a professional hotel environment. This is a temporary to permanent position, so if you are looking for full-time employment, then this job is for you.

The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for running your own kitchen section and supporting the senior chefs in delivering high-quality food service across restaurant dining, breakfast service, banqueting, and events. You will play a key role in maintaining kitchen standards and ensuring excellent guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to a high standard
  • Manage and maintain your designated kitchen section
  • Support junior kitchen staff and commis chefs
  • Ensure all food hygiene and health & safety standards are followed
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with stock rotation
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods
  • Maintain consistency in food quality and presentation
  • Assist senior chefs with menu preparation and daily operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef ready to progress
  • Good knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety standards
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Flexible approach to shifts, including evenings and weekends, most of shifts are 2pm to 10pm, 5 out of 7 days
  • Food Hygiene Certificate
