Due to expansion, Queenswood School are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join our education team on a bank basis (with the possibility of a perm role). We are looking for versatile, resilient and committed people, who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support across all key stages. The successful candidate will be assisting the children with their work and supporting with pupil behaviour while establishing good relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs.
Queenswood School in Ledbury, Herefordshire, is an independent, specialist school providing education and care services to children and young people aged 11-19 years, with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties and a range of additional needs. This includes attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), attachment disorder, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), pathological demand avoidance (PDA), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), specific learning difficulties (SpLd) and an autistic spectrum condition (ASC).
