We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed GP to join our friendly and supportive team, with opportunities to develop and influence the practice.
Wandsworth-based, demographically diverse, 7,400 patients; PMS, EMIS Web. Typically 15 patients/3 hours morning and evening (fewer advance bookable morning appointments and 12 evening patients if on call) with fairly-shared visits and occasional extras, light on-call duties, actively managed paperwork and assistance with medication reviews.
Part of a progressive local GP network (Battersea PCN), within a pioneering GP Federation and ICS (SW London). Core team comprises 9 part-time GPs, 1 Practice Nurse and an HCA, Reception and Admin. We are a training practice with a collaborative learning culture.
Additional roles include Health & Wellbeing Coaches, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technician, Mental Health Support Worker & Child Psychologist, Social Prescribing Link Worker. Excellent communication/advice links with local Community & Specialist Nurses, Health Visitors, Consultants & CMHT.
Regular daily catchup and weekly clinical meetings; continuous support from colleagues to enhance skills and develop special interests.
£12k+/session; partnership vacancy in due course, for the right person. Newly-qualified and pre-retirement GPs welcome.
