Queenscourt Hospice is an independent charity that provides free, specialist palliative care for the people of Southport, Formby and West Lancashire. We care for patients with advanced progressive illnesses, helping them to achieve the best possible quality of life.

£31,208 – £37,864 per annum/pro rata (Dependant on Experience)

12-month fixed term contract

37.5 hours per week

We are looking to appoint a qualified, motivated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable practitioner on a 12-month fixed term basis. The post holder will ideally have post registration general nursing experience and good IT skills. The successful applicant will work predominantly on our Inpatient Unit but will be expected to work in other areas of the organisation as required. There is a rotational shift pattern working early, late and night shifts. A comprehensive induction and training programme will be provided for the successful candidate.

New qualified RGNs are welcome to apply. A preceptorship programme will be available. The successful candidate will be supported with the opportunity for clinical development and education/academic achievement (up to MSC).
