Through the Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Programme, CASC in partnership with Queen's University Belfast have an exciting and unique employment opportunity for an innovative and motivated Computer/Data Science or relevant Engineering (Mechatronics, Electronics) graduate to work on a project to drive digital transformation by unlocking critical operational data and enabling seamless integration of automation and intelligent systems, strengthening CASC's position as a trusted manufacturing partner for global OEMs in renewable energy, automotive, agricultural and material handling sectors. This role is company-based and will be delivered in collaboration with the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre (AMIC) at Queen's.

Our in-house engineering teams provide expertise across cutting, folding, fabrication, finishing and final delivery, ensuring a streamlined process that enhances quality, reduces lead times and keeps every project moving forward smoothly.
The successful candidate must have, and your application should clearly demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:
- Hold or be about to obtain (by July 2026) at least a 2.1 Honours Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a relevant Engineering subject such as Mechatronics, Electronics or a closely related discipline.
- Hold a current, valid, UK driving licence and have access to own transport.
- Significant relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, in a related research field, or on a project focused on digital transformation.
- Relevant experience of data modelling, programming and data visualisation.
- Relevant experience in planning, organising or contributing to projects (e.g. academic projects, group assignments, placements), with demonstrable knowledge of basic project management principles and/or tools.
