The School of Student and Campus Experience at Queen's University Belfast is currently seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to the post of Lifeguard in Queen's Sport. The role involves carrying out lifeguard duties to ensure the safety of users of the pool while maintaining high levels of hygiene and completing daily pool water tests. You will be required to work as part of a flexible operational team across Queen's Sport facilities and provide a courteous, efficient, and effective service to students and users. Excellent customer service will be at the heart of everything you do, and you will assist with cleaning, maintenance of equipment, and upkeep of indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Both full-time (37 hours per week) and part-time (20 hours per week) posts are available.
Queen's Sport is seeking exceptional candidates for the posts of Lifeguards. These posts are an exciting opportunity to join the wider Operational Team at Queen's Sport in delivering a world-class service to our students, members, and the wider community with a focus on improving the health and wellbeing of all users. The roles will have a central focus on delivering high quality and safe sporting environments for all our users across all facilities while emphasising excellent customer care.
The successful candidate will have:
- Secondary School education (e.g. GCSE level or NVQ equivalent).
- Current valid RLSS NPLQ.
- Experience working as a Pool Lifeguard with emphasis on customer care.
