To continue development of this groundbreaking initiative, we are seeking to expand the engineering capability in Momentum One Zero with a number of engineering positions. These roles will undertake collaborative development projects with industrial partners exploiting research at Momentum One Zero to help deliver solutions that combine expertise in AI, cybersecurity and digital twin modelling. Designing and developing proof-of-concept demonstrators that incorporate newly developed capabilities emerging from Momentum One Zero's research groups.
About the person:
Essential Criteria:
- Honours Degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or related discipline; OR HND in a related discipline with extensive recent and relevant industrial experience.
- Software development skills in languages such as C, C++ / Java / Python / R.
- Use of code configuration management toolsets.
- Knowledge of one or more of the following: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning methodologies and tools; Simulation tools and methods relevant to supply chain modelling; Real time data collection and processing techniques relevant to supply chain modelling; General cyber security principles.
- High-quality outputs such as demonstrators, prototypes, technical reports, etc.
Desirable Criteria:
- MEng, MSc or Ph.D. in a relevant area.
- Evidence of industrial product development experience involving software design and development.
- Experience with data visualisation tools and analytics dashboards.
- Cloud computing professional certifications (AWS/Azure Cloud Architect, etc.).
- Cyber security professional certifications (CISSP, CEH etc.), and familiarisation with frameworks such as MITRE and OWASP top 10.
- Networking experience and the maintenance of compute, storage and switch equipment from major vendors.
- Experience with the setup and configuration of firewalls and remote access tooling.
- Experience with agent based software development.
