Role Overview
As an Analyst in Transaction Services, you will join a dynamic and growing team working on high-profile M&A deals. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to financial due diligence projects, build your technical skills, and contribute to client deliverables from day one.
This is an ideal entry-level role for individuals looking to develop a career in financial advisory, corporate finance, or M&A. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and receive dedicated support as you grow your knowledge and progress within the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Engagement Support: Assist in the delivery of buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence assignments, supporting senior team members across key project areas.
- Financial Analysis: Help gather, clean, and analyse financial data to identify key trends, risks, and value drivers.
- Working Papers & Schedules: Prepare financial working papers, Excel schedules, and supporting documentation for client deliverables.
- Client Materials: Contribute to drafting reports and presentation slides under the guidance of Executives and Managers.
- Tool Adoption: Embrace and use AI-enabled tools, data platforms, and automation technologies to improve speed and insight generation.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively across the team, contributing to a positive, high-performance culture.
- Learning: Take part in structured learning and development, on-the-job coaching, and internal training to grow your technical and commercial skills.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree-qualified (2:1 or above) in a finance, accounting, economics, or business-related subject.
- A genuine interest in M&A, finance, and the world of transactions.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills; experience with PowerPoint is a plus.
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Clear, confident communication and a team-first attitude.
- Curious, coachable, and proactive about your professional development.
- Prior internship or work experience in accounting, finance, or consulting is beneficial but not essential.
