Role: Clinical Deputy Manager | Care Home
Location: Bushey, Hertfordshire
Salary: £60,000
Hours: Contracted for 44 hours per week, including participation in a weekend rota and shared \’on-call\’ responsibilities with the management team. The role comprises three supernumerary days, with the remaining time spent providing clinical leadership through hands-on support on the floor.

The interview process will be in a one-stage format.
- Stage One – In-person interview with the senior management team.
The Candidate:
- Assist the Registered Care Home Manager in overseeing the care home\’s daily operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Lead a team of amazing Nurses and Carers. You’ll be responsible for the health and well-being of the residents of the home, applying sound clinical judgement to manage a wide variety of conditions, including dementia.
- Engage with families and external stakeholders to ensure effective resident care and facility operations communication.
- Be a highly performing role model and an inspiring leader by adopting and leading a culture that endorses the company’s values and ethos.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
- Experience within a nursing home setting with older people.
- Experience as a Deputy Care Home Manager, Deputy Care Manager, Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, Clinical Manager, Head of Care, Care Home Manager, or Care Manager.
- A clear understanding of CQC standards/ legislation.
- Great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with managing teams of healthcare staff.
- Good IT skills and confidence in computer-based work.
Desirable:
- Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management (or equivalent)
- Experience using Nourish and Radar care management systems.

The service\’s location is Bushey and is commutable from Borehamwood, Brent Cross, Chorleywood, Edgware, Harpenden, Harrow, Hemel Hempstead, Northwood, Pinner, Radlett, Rickmansworth, Ruislip, St Albans, Stanmore, Watford, etc.
