The predicted salary is between 12.85 - 12.85 £ per hour.

Salary – Scale A, £12.85/hr (MSA) and Scale D, £13.26 - £13.47/hr (TA)

Fixed Term until 31 August 2027, with possibility of extension

Part Time 22.5 hours per week (17.5 hours TA and 5 hours MSA)

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our amazing team in our Early Years. You will become part of a committed team of education professionals who truly want to, and do, make a difference. This diverse and exciting role involves supporting our Early Years pupils, including those with additional needs, to develop a love of learning. Your day may include leading small phonics sessions and intervention groups, supporting individual children with additional needs, and helping pupils with their learning in the classroom.

We have three simple rules in our school, ‘Safe, Ready, Respectful’. They are at the core of everything we do. We expect it of our staff and pupils and help us to provide a happy, safe and stimulating environment for all. You may be a current teaching assistant wanting to experience a large‑school setting, a recent graduate looking to develop a career in education or someone with experience of working with younger children looking to work in schools. We have over 600 pupils and 90 staff who work collaboratively to support our pupils in achieving their full potential. Hours of work, Monday – Friday, 8.30am - 1pm.

This post is likely to come under the requirements of the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations and the successful applicant will be required to complete a declaration form to establish whether they are disqualified under these regulations.
