Queen’s Crescent School is seeking to appoint a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will support pupils in accessing learning across the curriculum, helping to ensure they are fully engaged in classroom activities and able to make good progress.
Working closely with the class teacher and wider staff team, you will provide high-quality support tailored to the needs of individuals and groups of pupils. This will include helping to deliver planned learning activities, reinforcing key skills, and supporting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. You will play an important role in promoting independence, confidence, and a positive attitude to learning. The role may also involve supporting pupils with additional needs, including those with SEND, and assisting with personal care or other specific requirements where necessary.
The successful candidate will be patient, enthusiastic, and able to build positive relationships with children, contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
