In the 24 years since its foundation, Queen’s College Preparatory School (QCPS) has enjoyed rapid growth to become one of the most successful girls’ prep schools in London. QCPS is part of Queen’s College, London, the prestigious and historic senior school in Harley Street to which many QCPS girls progress at 11+; the two schools share a governing Council.
The Council is seeking to appoint a Deputy Head (Academic) to join the Leadership Team to continue to drive this wonderful school forward. The Deputy Head (Academic)’s chief aim is to provide professional leadership and management of all academic matters and to ensure a culture of high expectations in which every girl reaches her full academic potential.
The Deputy Head (Academic) is a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and has a key role to play in both the strategic development of the school and the day-to-day management of it. Members of the SLT are expected to create a climate of continuous improvement in all areas of school life, including pupil achievement, good manners, and involvement in enrichment activities.
