We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils, working closely with the class teacher and SENDCo.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across the curriculum, working with individuals and small groups.
- Assist with lesson delivery, planning, and pupil assessment.
- Provide tailored support to pupils with additional needs, including personal care where required.
- Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour.
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to reviews and individual plans (e.g. IEPs/EHCPs).
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and communication development.
- Assist with classroom organisation, administration, and use of ICT.
- Supervise pupils during lunchtime and unstructured activities.
