This is an exciting opportunity to join QVH Radiology department to support all operational and quality aspects of leadership in our department. QVH currently offers the following services:
- Xray
- Interventional Salivary service
- Fluoroscopy
- MRI
- CT
- Cone Beam CT
- New DXA service
In addition, we are a CDC so have designated direct access for primary care colleagues. We are working toward QSI in line with national expectations for CDC and are finalising our gap analysis. This is an opportunity to join us at an exciting time.
Main duties of the job
- Operational support to all teams
- Leadership and management
- Good core knowledge of QA/service maintenance for equipment
- Recruitment
- Business Intelligence - pull data from RIS/ analysis on activity/ demand
- Chair dose optimisation / image quality group/ US meetings
- Act as deputy chair for the RPC
- Deputise for Radiology manager at meetings
- Attend trust subcommittees such as patient safety & experience
- Datix/ complaint investigations
- Support procurement of equipment
- Act as RPS
