We are looking for an enthusiastic Healthcare assistant to work in our Plastics Outpatient Team. You will be patient focused and willing to learn all aspects of Outpatient Clinic management to ensure our patients are seen in a timely, friendly environment. You will have completed an NVQ Level 3 in Health Care Support.

Main duties of the job

At the Queen Victoria Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, an exciting opportunity has arisen within our Outpatient Department for a Band 3 Health Care Assistant. This department operates plastics, community and general specialist clinics and is offering a range of diverse experience, including phlebotomy, cardiology, respiratory and plastic surgery. Training and development is available for the successful applicant and you would need to be currently working at an NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent to be shortlisted for this role.

An enthusiastic and self-motivated person is required to provide clinical healthcare support to both patients and HCAs including apprentices at Queen Victoria Hospital. The role gives the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated and busy clinical team whilst developing self and others in delivering high standard of clinical care. • Qualifications: Apprenticeship Level 3 or Level 3
• Experience: Experience of team working
• Experience of support learning and development in others
• Previous experience in a health care setting
• Wound care and dressing knowledge
