As a Guest Services Assistant, you’ll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience. You’ll also create a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location.
As a Night Guest Service Assistant, you are responsible for providing exceptional service to guests. Your responsibilities include:
- Creating an atmosphere where the guests feel welcome
- Checking in guests smoothly, taking their IDs and handing out room keys
- Staying one step ahead of guests' needs and ensuring these are met
- Vacuuming rooms and corridors and undertaking regular deep cleaning tasks
- Delivering items to the rooms
- Reporting any missing or damaged items to the reception team and ensuring that the items are replaced or repaired
- Being environmentally aware and disposing of waste accordingly
- Cleaning public areas, meeting rooms/suites and bathrooms
- Managing guest requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Complying with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Carrying out lost property procedures
- Handling complaints and special requests to achieve complete guest satisfaction
- Assisting other departments wherever necessary and maintaining good working relationships
