Overview
We are seeking an experienced Network DNS Architect to design, implement, and manage enterprise‑scale DNS infrastructure within a large, complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable and resilient DNS solutions across enterprise environments
- Define DNS strategy including high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery
- Manage and optimise enterprise DNS platforms such as Infoblox, BIND, BlueCat, or Microsoft DNS
- Implement DNS security controls including DNSSEC, DDoS mitigation, and threat protection
- Troubleshoot complex DNS and network infrastructure issues
- Work closely with network, security, and cloud teams on integration and optimisation
- Produce technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong background in DNS architecture and enterprise network design
- Deep understanding of DNS protocols (UDP/TCP, recursive and authoritative DNS)
- Strong IP networking knowledge including TCP/IP, routing, and switching
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise DNS platforms (Infoblox, BIND, BlueCat, or Microsoft DNS)
- Experience with cloud DNS solutions such as AWS Route 53, Azure DNS, or Google Cloud DNS
- Knowledge of network security principles and DNS protection mechanisms
- Experience designing highly available and resilient systems
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred Experience
- Security clearance or eligibility for security clearance
