We are seeking an experienced Environment Implementation Coordinator to join a fast-paced delivery programme on a 6-month contract. This role is critical in ensuring that development, testing, and production environments are set up, maintained, and aligned with project timelines.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional technical teams to ensure environments are stable, secure, and ready to support seamless delivery across multiple workstreams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environment Setup & Coordination
    • Coordinate provisioning, configuration, and deployment across Dev, Test, UAT, and Production environments
    • Ensure environments are ready in line with delivery timelines and milestones
    • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, and DevOps teams to enable efficient setup
    • Maintain environment inventory, configurations, and access controls
  • Release & Deployment Support
    • Support deployments across multiple environments
    • Ensure environment availability for releases, testing cycles, and production rollouts
    • Maintain stability during deployments and patching activities
    • Track, manage, and resolve environment-related issues
  • Stakeholder & Delivery Support
    • Act as a key liaison between Development, QA, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams
    • Align environment readiness with project delivery schedules
    • Participate in Agile ceremonies as required
    • Provide clear updates on environment status, risks, and issues
  • Environment Monitoring & Maintenance
    • Monitor performance, availability, and utilisation of environments
    • Proactively identify and resolve issues
    • Manage refresh cycles, data setup, and backups
    • Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operating procedures
  • Compliance & Security
    • Ensure environments meet security and governance standards
    • Support audit and compliance requirements
    • Manage access controls in line with data protection policies
    • Work within secure and regulated environments when needed
Your Profile
  • Technical Experience
    • Proven experience in environment coordination, infrastructure support, or DevOps support roles
    • Strong understanding of environment provisioning (Cloud – AWS, Azure, GCP – or on-premise)
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment tools, and environment management practices
    • Knowledge of configuration management, release processes, and system integration
    • Basic scripting skills (Shell, PowerShell, or Python) are advantageous
