Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end migration of enterprise data solutions from Teradata to GCP.
- Design and implement scalable solutions leveraging Teradata utilities such as BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPT.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute migration strategies.
- Optimize Teradata SQL queries for performance improvements.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Extensive hands-on experience with Teradata utilities (BTEQ, FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT).
- Proficiency in Teradata architecture, including star and snowflake schemas.
- Strong skills in SQL optimization and data modelling.
- Experience with Teradata performance tuning, workload management (TASM), and partitioning strategies.
- Familiarity with Teradata tools such as Viewpoint, Query Grid, TD Stats, and TDWM.
- Proven experience in migrating Teradata workloads to GCP.
- Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and ETL processes.
