Our client, a top global organization, is seeking an experienced Solution Architect with strong airline industry experience to lead the definition and delivery of complex, end-to-end technology solutions. You will work closely with Enterprise Architects, domain architects, functional consultants, and senior business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with long-term architectural strategy and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution architecture across ideation, design, and implementation phases
- Translate airline business requirements into scalable, secure, and fit-for-purpose architectures
- Define solution options, contribute to RFI/RFP activity, prototypes, and architecture roadmaps
- Communicate architecture clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Champion architecture best practices, standards, and governance
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise standards while influencing change where required
- Support portfolio-level architecture planning, roadmaps, and investment decisions
- Provide architectural guidance across application modernisation, integration, and cloud initiatives
- Assess security, risk, and compliance considerations within solution designs
Qualifications
- Strong airline / travel / transport industry background
- Proven experience operating as a Solution Architect on complex programmes
- Strong knowledge of modern architecture: Cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred), Microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures
- Excellent stakeholder communication and influence skills
- Ability to champion and embed architecture best practice
- Strong experience transforming business strategy into IT solutions
- Exposure to large, regulated enterprise environments
