About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA P2P Consultant to join a major retail transformation programme focused on building a modern, clean-core SAP S/4HANA landscape.

The role sits within a large-scale digital supply chain transformation, supporting end-to-end procurement and inventory processes across a complex retail environment. You will play a key role in designing, configuring, and delivering robust Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solutions aligned with SAP best practices.

This is an opportunity to work on a fast-paced transformation programme involving S/4HANA implementation, retail supply chain optimisation, and integration across core enterprise functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support end-to-end SAP MM / P2P implementation activities (design, build, test, deploy)
  • Configure core procurement processes including:
    • Purchase Requisition (PR)
    • Purchase Order (PO)
    • Goods Receipt (GR)
    • Invoice Verification (IV)
  • Support inventory management and vendor master processes
  • Conduct Fit-to-Standard / Fit-Gap workshops with business stakeholders
  • Prepare functional specifications, test scripts, and configuration documentation
  • Support data migration, cutover planning, and deployment activities
  • Ensure integration with SAP FI, SD, and other relevant modules
  • Support SIT, UAT, Go-Live and Hypercare phases
  • Provide end-user training and knowledge transfer
  • Work closely with technical teams on integrations (IDocs, interfaces, enhancements)

Required Experience

  • Strong experience in SAP MM / P2P consulting (5+ years minimum)
  • Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations (1909 or later preferred)
  • Hands-on configuration experience in procurement and inventory processes
  • Strong understanding of retail or FMCG supply chain environments
  • Experience with end-to-end implementation lifecycle (requirements to hypercare)
  • Strong knowledge of SAP integration with FI and SD
  • Experience in data migration and cutover activities
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience in retail supply chain processes (replenishment, allocation, cross-docking)
  • Exposure to SAP CAR or POS integration
  • Knowledge of SAP RISE / clean core architecture
  • Experience with IDocs, interfaces, and integration scenarios
  • SAP certification in S/4HANA Procurement or MM
