About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP P2P (MM) Functional Consultant to join a high-impact SAP transformation programme within a leading manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in designing, configuring, and delivering end-to-end SAP Materials Management (MM) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) solutions, supporting complex automotive and manufacturing business processes. This is a hands-on functional role working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and programme leadership to ensure successful delivery, testing, and post-go-live stability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering workshops for SAP MM and P2P processes
  • Configure and implement end-to-end SAP MM functionality including:
    • Purchasing
    • Inventory Management
    • Invoice Verification
  • Design, build, test, and deploy SAP MM solutions
  • Produce functional design documents, configuration specs, and test scripts (UT/UAT/Regression)
  • Support integration across SAP modules including FICO, SD, PP, and EWM
  • Drive adoption of SAP standard best practices and minimise customisation
  • Support cutover planning, hypercare, and post go-live stabilisation
  • Act as a key liaison between business users and technical teams
  • Ensure successful delivery of multiple parallel workstreams

Required Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in SAP MM / P2P functional consulting
  • Minimum 2 end-to-end SAP MM implementation projects
  • Strong hands-on configuration experience in MM processes
  • Solid understanding of procurement, inventory management, pricing, and account determination
  • Experience working across SAP integrations (FICO, SD, PP, EWM)
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced programme environment

Desirable Experience

  • Automotive or manufacturing industry experience
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise SAP rollouts
  • Strong understanding of SAP best practice frameworks

Working Style
