Working Pattern

Hybrid for the first 3 months, then office-based in Aberdeen

We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a major transformation programme with a leading global technology consultancy supporting a client within the UK energy sector.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead the successful delivery of IT projects across infrastructure, applications and data, working with multiple stakeholders in a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and deliver projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and project schedules.
  • Manage project budgets, resources and delivery timelines.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues and dependencies.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate stakeholders.
  • Ensure project governance, quality assurance and reporting are maintained.
  • Prepare documentation for governance stage gates and steering committees.
  • Drive successful project outcomes while ensuring adherence to agreed methodologies.

Essential Experience

  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent Project Management certification.
  • Demonstrable experience delivering IT Infrastructure, Application or Data projects.
  • Previous experience within the UK Energy sector.
  • Strong stakeholder management and governance experience.
  • Experience managing project budgets, risks, issues and delivery plans.

Desirable Experience

  • Upstream Oil & Gas industry experience.
  • Experience working within large enterprise environments.
